He is survived by: his wife Arlene Pirtle; his children, Sheila McAlpin (Joe) and Mike Pirtle (Lisa); his granddaughters, Farrah McGrew (Garrett), Elizabeth Lynne McAlpin, Lori Beth McAlpin and Lyndsey Bamburg (Grant); his great grandchildren, Roman, River Gene, Brady and Leighton; and his siblings, Joe Pirtle, Shirley Haraway and Frances Pitts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
