She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Stanley; her parents, Herschel Rickard and Cecil Mae Rickard; and her brother Charles Edward Rickard (Bubba). She is survived by: her children, Rick Thompson (Ruth-Ellen), Eric Thompson (Rhonda), Beth Herring (Michael), Elaine Gray (Terry) and Amy Barron (Phillip); and her grandchildren, James, Andrew, Jon, Ryan, Emily, Anna, Tanner, Tyler, Madison and Macy.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to White Springs Baptist Church.
