It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Munkachy of Prattville, Alabama, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Emily Munkachy. He is survived by: his father Louis Munkachy; his children, Alexander, Nicholas, Stephanie and Rebecca Munkachy; his grandchildren, Conor and Norah Munkachy; his wife Paula Munkachy; and his sister Zsuzsi.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Bernard's Abbey or to Catholic Charities to support the Church, which brought so much meaning to his life.
