He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Scogin Sr. and Sarah Pauline "Polly" Keel Scogin; his brother Ricky Scogin; and his great grandchild Kaitlynn. He is survived by: his children, Chip Scogin (Dawn), Denise Scogin and Crystal Scogin; his grandchildren, Parker Swafford, Amber Hannah and Kat Bain; and his brother Harry Scogin.
