He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Goolesby Heard; his sons, James Heard (Romaine), DeWayne Heard (Shonda), Ronald Heard (Felicia) and Shane Voiles (Sarah); his grandchildren, Noah Heard, Seth Mackey, Amy Carenza (Sam), Emily Mackey, Brandon Heard, Breanna Heard, Sadi Heard, Brodi Heard, Dustin Heard (Shelby), Chelsea Dixson (Phillip), Savannah Heard, Dane Boyd, Megan Voiles and Madi Voiles; his great grandchild Luca Thomas Carenza; and his siblings, Dot Dyer, Billy Heard (Rheanetta), Melvin Heard, Wayne Heard (Elaine), Earl Heard (Wanda), Dale Heard (Vicki) and Donald Heard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
