He was predeceased by: his father Claude Arnold Bass; and his brothers, Johnny, Clinton and Kenneth Bass. He is survived by: his children, Brooke Bell (TJ), Trevor Bass and Melissa Doss; his grandchildren, Austin, Cooper Bell, Jalen Doss and Lettie Summers; his mother Lorene Heard Bass; and his siblings, Brenda Garland (Jimmy) and James Bass.
