She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Marks and Mary Byrd Marks; her husband William Arvis "Shorty" Wells; her children, Leon Wells, William Preston Wells, Duane York and Debbie Kilgore; and her siblings, Canolla Wells, Juanita Wells, Evelyn Brooks and Lamar Marks.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Wells (Juanita), Roger Wells, Elaine Phillips (Jimmy), Kay Johnson (Joe Maldonado) and Teresa Wells.
