He is survived by: his parents, William Hubert Mathis, Sr. and Margret Sue Mathis; his wife Deborah Ann Mathis; his children, Jeremy Holman (Elizabeth), Kayla Ray (Justin) and Jules Mathis; and his siblings, Anita Hensley, Kristina Scott and Michael Mathis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 nieces; 7 nephews.
