We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2021, at the age of 86, Nellie Eunice Hanson of Piedmont, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband J. M. Hanson; and her parents, Herbert Motes and Julia Motes. She is survived by: her children, James Hanson (Judy) of Southside and Diane McKay (Thomas) of Hortense, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jeremy McKay, Teka McKay, William McKay and Kevin Hanson (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Bradley Mckay and Levi Hanson.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
