It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mavis Brock Taylor of Piedmont, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sherman Taylor; and her parents, Roy Brock and Ola Brock. She is survived by: her children, Eddie W. Taylor (Diane) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Wyvonne Hardin (Gene) of Piedmont and James Taylor (Cathy) of Garner, N. C.; her grandchildren, David Taylor (Liane), Chad Hardin (Amy), Bobby Hardin (LaVonda) and Rebecca Bass (Joe); her great grandchildren, Brady Hardin, Katlyn Taylor Bell (Forrest), Kayla Taylor, Taylor Hardin, Mayce Hardin, Ava Beth Hardin and Alexander Bass; and her brothers, Wallace Brock (Kimi) and Guy Brock (Omega). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family ask those attending the visitation and funeral to please wear a mask.
