He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Chase and Lola Edge Chase; his siblings-in-law, Betty Parker Rice, Jack Rice and Marlan Sagar; and his nephew Chuck Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Parker Chase; his daughters, Becky Burkett (Jerald), Carol Wilder (Ken) and Debra Jackson of Opelika, AL; his sister Marion Sagar of Valley, AL; his grandchildren, Jacob Wilder (Meg), Christopher Wilder (Kelsey), Brooke Jackson and Parker Jackson; his great grandchild Lauren Wilder; and his nieces and nephews, Dennis Rice of Opelika, AL, Tammy Hanson (Ted), Joel Teague (Dee) and Marla Kay Smith (Heath).
