He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Estes and Ludie Sexton Estes; his wife Helen Estes; his siblings, Burma Studdard, Francis, Jack, Vonley and Joe Estes; and his stepson Todd Carroll.
He is survived by: his sister Joyce Gudger (Bob) of South Carolina; his nieces, Brenda Hardy (Larry) of Piedmont and Wanda Deal of Oxford; and his stepchildren, Renea Hulsey (Tim) of Vance, AL and Michael Carroll (Sabrina) of Gadsden. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
