With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Clay Jr. of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Clay, Sr. and Dallas Wood. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Clay; his sons, Terry Clay of Piedmont and Darryl Clay (Dana) of Borden Springs; his grandchildren, Jonathon Propes, Joshua Propes and Marley Propes; his great grandchild Hunter Propes; his sister Sherry Cash (Donald) of Rabbittown; his nieces and nephews, Lane Cash, Conner Cash, Wyley Ledbetter, Kassidy Ledbetter and Kristi Ledbetter; and his pet Midnight.
The family requests for everyone to wear a mask and maintain a distance of 6 feet.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, Florida 33607, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 or to a charity of choice.
