He is survived by: his wife Annette Hinkle; his son Charles R. "Charlie" Hinkle, II (Ava); his granddaughters, Savannah Leonard Jenkins (Aaron) and Gabrielle Hinkle; his great grandchild Selah Leonard; his siblings, Mary Ann St. John, Sylvia Stewart (Wayne), Naomi Williams (Gary) and Jerry Hinkle (Lynda); and his close friends, Larry and Dorothy Frames. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
