She was predeceased by: her husband Starland Newell; her parents, Will Borden and Eva Borden; her siblings, Leonard Hopkins, Hubert Hopkins, Roy Borden and Mary Martin; and her great great grandchildren, Jayden Thomas and Colton Levi Jennings.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Newell Smith (Bobby); her grandchildren, Steven Smith (Tina), Bridget Lognion (Joedy) and Stacy Smith (Kristie); her great grandchildren, Amanda Thomas (Jason), Kayla Jennings (Ben), Zach Smith (Rosalyn) and Holly Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Jackson Hightower, Addie Remington and Anna Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
