She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Eugene Fancher, Sr. and Lena Irene Coppinger Fancher of West Blocton, Alabama.; her husband Carlton McElroy Deason; and her siblings, Herbert, Hershel "Sonny", Robert, William, Tom, Mary, Catherine, Sue Betty, Mildred and Judy.

She is survived by: her children, John Hughes Warren, Sr. (Pam) and Melissa "Lisa" Partridge (Kenneth); her grandson John Hughes Warren, Jr.; and her children, Carlton Allen Hoffman, James Matthew Deason (Gail), Virginia Ann Reisner (Blake) and Kendyl Ryan Partridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
