She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Jerome Pate; her parents, Waymon Eugene Hestley and Sara Elizabeth Rowland Hestley; and her sister Sara Lynn Wilson. She is survived by: her daughter Robin Elizabeth Pate Hendley (Ryan); her grandchildren, Kalaysha and Ke'Marious; and her sister Patricia Ann Sheets (Ralph). She is also survived by her nieces and nephew, many wonderful cousins, and life-long friends.
