He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sr. Frye and Stella Frye; his wife Frances M Frye (Nell); his children, Paula G Morgan and James E. Frye; and his siblings, Leroy, Henry, Walter Jr. (Preacher), Cecil, James, Maxine, Elvalou, Ophelia and Daisy.
He is survived by: his children, Joan K. Brown and Charles E. Frye Jr. (Deborah). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home (508 Faust Ave, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Army Emergency Relief and the Claybank Lodge #908 Ozark, AL.
