He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Rawls and Mary Belle Rawls; and his siblings, Angus and Joanie. He is survived by: his wife May D. Compton; his sister Janice DeVincenzo (Rick); his children, Michael Compton (Beth), Susan Allen (Brad) and Scott Compton (Valarie); his grandchildren, Jessica Compton, Matthew Compton (Annick), Justin Gilbert (Fatima), Brandon Allen (Ashley), Bailey Johnson (Ryan), Katie Carter, Nicholas Allen and Chase Compton (Joy); his great grandchildren, Zachary Gilbert, Collin Compton, Aviana Compton, James Rees and Banks Johnson; and his daughter Shaquita Drake.
