He is survived by: his children, Walter Lee Alford of Auburn, AL, Willie James Alford (Brenda Ann) of Opelika, AL and Martha "Kate" Benford (Ricky) of Opelika, AL; his brother Willie Joe Alford of Lanett, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Willie Kirk of Opelika, AL, Brooksie Kirk, Jr. of Opelika, AL, Willie Ralph Evans of LaFayette, AL, Annie Kirk of Austell, GA, Mary Sumlin (Larry) of Rex, GA and Louise Love (Edward) of Opelika, AL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
