She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edwin and Ester Darnell Cooper; her husband Herman Overton; her siblings, Mildred, Elmer, George and Infant Thomas; and her grandson Infant Charlie Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Hadaway (Tommy); and her sister Geraldine Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and great-great-great nieces.
