We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2024, at the age of 78, Edward Joseph Loftus Jr. of Opelika, Alabama, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph Loftus and Marie Connelly Loftus; and his granddaughter Caitlin Rose Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane McDade Loftus; his children, Rosemary Cummings (Alan), Ted Loftus (Laura), Susan Johnston (David) and Jason Loftus (Chrisdine); his sister Theresa Farrelly; his grandchildren, Michael Cummings (Carrie), Paige Cummings, Jackson Cummings, Emily Johnston, Nick Johnston (Isabel), Ryan Johnston, Catherine Loftus, Patrick Loftus and Sarah Loftus; and his great grandchildren, Drake Cummings and Hank Cummings. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
