With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles H Gilliam (Opelika, Alabama), born in Lexington, Tennessee, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wallace and Joy Clifford Gilliam; his brother Jim Gilliam; and his son-in-law Brent Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Gail Cross Gilliam; his children, Jeremy Gilliam (Jenny) and Catherine Cobb Morrow (Jamie); his brothers, Denny Gilliam (Janet) and Jeff Gilliam (Tammy); his siblings-in-law, Cathy Gilliam, Brenda Scott and Norman Cross (Barbara); his grandchildren, Carleigh, Andrew, Jack Gilliam, James and Matthew Cobb; his stepgranddaughters, Meredith and Margaret Morrow; and his grandson Dustin.
