He was predeceased by: his parents, Dawson Blue and Elvie Blue; his siblings, Nan Marie B. Weldon [Jim], Jean B. Phillips [Bobby] and Robert Blue; and his daughter Nanette Blue.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Blue; his brother John Blue (BoBo); his children, Charles Blue II (Chuck), Ami [Steve Sandlin] and Kim [Morris Smith]; and his grandchildren, Tucker Sandlin, Riley Sandlin, Foster Hulsey, Elvie Smith, Kelsey Hamby and Taylor Hamby.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Buddy Blue. He was an Icon of my youth, a mentor and a friend. Buddy was an inspiration to me in skydiving and life and the lessons he taught by example will never be forgotten.
