He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Bynum Miller; his son Lamar Miller; his granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Whited; his sons-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Ellison and Rodney Whited; his parents, Ted Miller and Zada Banks Miller; his brother Donald Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Smith Miller and Donald O'dell Vaught.
He is survived by: his children, William "Joe" Miller (Judy) and Denise Miller Turner (Alvin); his daughter-in-law Ginalin Miller Mina (Ray); his grandchildren, Stuart Miller, Kara Miller Foster (Adam), Chuck Whited (Katie), Victoria Whited, Samantha Whited Cain (Tanner), Joshua Miller (Katelyn) and Savannah Miller; his great grandchildren, Merritt Foster, Everly Foster, Paislie Miller, Porter Miller, Nora Cain and Naomi Cain; and his siblings, Jack, David, Jimmy Miller and Suzanne Vaught.
