She was predeceased by: her husband W. A. Mayes; her sons, Bill, Ricky and Roger Mayes; and her grandson Graham Wall.

She is survived by: her daughter Dana Hatzimichaels (John); her grandchildren, Sharon Whaley, Carly Counce (Zack) and Eric Mayes (Chasity); and her brother Mickey Chapman (Shannon). She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
