He is survived by: his mother Matiana Lopez; his siblings, Ramona Covarrubias, Tomasa Covarrubias, Manuela Covarrubias, Ma Dolores Covarrubias, Amalia Covarrubias, Lucio Covarrubias and Amador Covarrubias; and his daughter-in-law Gloria Rivera.
