She was predeceased by: her son Pace Montgomery; her parents, Walter Trimble and Annie Ree Hearn Trimble; and her sister Sussie Trimble Smith. She is survived by: her husband Richard Reams; her stepsons, Phillip and Rick Reams; and her nephews, Terry N. and Glen Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. Donations can be made through their website at donate.cancer.org.
