It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lerlene Orton (Oneonta, Alabama), who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lincoln Orton; her parents, Arlie Gregory and Gerthie Horsley Armstrong; and her sister Myrna Drella. She is survived by: her children, Linda Orton Horton (Jim) and Alfred Lincoln Orton (Lynne); her sisters, Ardis Elliot (Byron) and Elta Barrett (late Robert); her grandchildren, Daniel Veasey (Jennifer), Rebecca Veasey and Ashley Orton Stapleton (Joel); and her great grandchildren, Jamison Veasey, Fletcher Veasey, Will Stapleton and Sam Stapleton. She is also survived by three nieces; four nephews.
