She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Elliss, Sr.; and her parents, Lonnie Huie and Chloie Putman Huie. She is survived by: her children, Charles Ellis, Jr. (Susan) and Jerry Ellis (Andi); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Austin, Jon and Megan; and her sister Eudale Paul.
