She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Neil Hayes; and her parents, Edward Montey and Eunice Tidwell Montey. She is survived by: her daughter Carmen D. Minter; her grandchildren, Ryian Ashley Gunn (Nathan) and Erica Celeste Bullock; her great grandchildren, Blake Andrew Gunn, Elijah Hunter Gunn and Parker Neil Neff; her brother George Gary Montey (Bonnie); her nephew Gary Shane Montey (Billie); and her niece Jade Amanda Montey Price (Chad).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Healing Place Church, St. Clair Campus.
