She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lorenzo Rodgers and Pauline Ann Brown Rodgers; her brother Joseph Winfield "Buddy" Rodgers; and her husband Wayman Gray Sherrer. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Sherrer McKee; her son-in-law George Barringer McKee, III; her grandchildren, Margaret Estelle McKee and Benjamin Sherrer McKee of Garner; her son William Jefferson Sherrer; her child-in-law Holland White Sherrer; her grandchildren, William Jefferson Sherrer, Jr. and Gray Holland Sherrer of Vestavia, Alabama.; and her sisters, Joanne Rodgers Jenks, Dr. Flo Rodgers Graham, Virginia, Joyce Rodgers Haddock (Donald May Haddock, Sr.) and Alexandria Virginia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In remembrance of Mrs. Sherrer's life, the family asks that charitable donations be made to the Oneonta Foundation For Educational Resources, in lieu of flowers.
