She was predeceased by: her daughter-in-law Deborah Roden Phillips; and her sister June Laughlin of Altoona. She is survived by: her children, George "Eddie" Phillips (Lisa) of Argo, Nancy Griffith (Ted) of Ohatchee, Darlene Phillips of Ashville and Carol Pitts (Jeromy) of Ohatchee; and her grandchildren, Jason Phillips (Valorie), Shana Silvey (Michael), James Truett (Lacey), Amber Sewell (Nathan), Patrick Griffith, Justin Taylor (Jeremy), Jacob Silvey, Nicholas Silvey, Brady Pitts and Emma Pitts.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bethel Methodist Cemetery Fund. (351 Thompson Rd. Ohatchee, AL 36271) Pallbearers will be grandsons.
