He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Sylvan D. New; his wife Jonalyn New; his mother Joyce New; his children, Joshua New and Charity Phillips (Lee); his grandchildren, Joshua Keegan New, Aurora New, Audrey Helen New, Elora New, Taylor Deck, Madison Deck and Bella Phillips; and his siblings, Marie Rogers (Buddy), Susan Pridgen, Phillip New (Donna) and Mark New.
