He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Stillwell; his parents, James Howard and Francis Stillwell; and his brother Gary Stillwell. He is survived by: his siblings, Sue Poole, Richard Allen Stillwell and Donald Stillwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
