She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Brown and Sylvia Brown; her husband Paul Poplin; and her siblings, Virginia Nelson, Sharon McGuire, Rosie Bloom and Leonard Cruse.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl Jean Poplin-Jones (Lauolefiso), Richard Dean Poplin (Yolanda), Jeffrey Paul Poplin (Pat) and Kevin Eugene Poplin (Cathy); her grandchildren, Stephanie Poplin-Lipley, Joshua Poplin, Jessica Tillman, Celine Rodrigues, Christian N. Barfield, Kimberly Poplin, Tiffani Poplin, Nathaniel Jones, Natasha Jones, Nanikka Merrell and Nollan Poplin Jones; and her siblings, Jerri Coufal, Rella Toelle and Ed Cruse. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
