He is survived by: his children, Rodney Risner (Kerrie) of Birmingham, AL and Selena South (Michael) of Muscle Shoals, AL; his brother Harold Risner of Florence, AL; his siblings-in-law, Johnny Smithson (Wanda) and Linda Smithson; and his grandchildren, Logan Risner, Darby Risner, Ben South and Sam South.
