He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Paulk Sanders; his parents, Woodfin Sanders and Zula Sanders; and his sister Elizabeth Sanders. He is survived by: his children, David Sanders (Donna) and Cythi Sanders Longgrear; and his grandchildren, Katie Sanders Richard (Chris), Adam Sanders, Lee Longgrear and Amy Longgrear Allen (James).
