He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. Myers and Lola Rice (Milford); and his brother Tommy Rice. He is survived by: his wife Ivey Myers; his children, Dennis Shelton, Tommy Myers and Tonia Adams (Marshall); his grandchildren, Jeffery Maydole, Corey Wyatt (Megan), Amber Casey (Anthony) and Dalton Myers; his great grandchildren, Carter Casey, Emma Maydole and Caroline Casey; and his brothers, James Myers (Jeanette), David Rice (Kathy), Michael Rice (Brenda) and Danny Joe Rice (Mellody). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
