Glen Byrd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Byrd (Mount Vernon, Alabama), who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Ann Byrd; his sons, Robert Byrd and Jeff Byrd; his parents, Thomas Byrd and Thelma Byrd; and his brothers, Roland Byrd, Charles Byrd and Ronald Byrd.
He is survived by: his children, Steven "Onion" Byrd (Crystal), Thomas "Tic" Byrd, Ray Byrd (Grace) and Jasper "Puddin" Byrd; his siblings, Nellie Foster, Vera Rivers (Stan) and Chris "Bunker" Weaver (Lettie); and his grandchildren, Brittany, Steven, Jr., Lyrissa, Drew, Thomas, Eathan, Chase, Brooke, EJ, Shanta, Janice and Lil Charles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
The service will be streamed on Facebook Live for those unable to attend services due to restrictions regarding COVID-19.
