She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jackson "Daddy Bill" McCleney and Velma Hodges McCleney; her husband John Daniel Sloan; her son Daniel Truitt "Dee" Sloan; and her siblings, Little, William Truitt McCleney and Robert Jackson.
She is survived by: her sister Charity Richardson (Hugh Richardson, Sr.) of Gardendale; her children, Dwight T. Sloan of Mt. Olive and Carole Jean Sloan of Birmingham; her grandsons, Christopher Sloan of Birmingham, Brett Sloan of Topeka and Jonathan Sloan (Jennifer) of Mt. Olive; and her great grandchildren, Xaiden Sloan, Truitt Sloan of Topeka Kansas, Landon Sloan, Luke Sloan and Millie Sloan of Mt. Olive. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
