He was predeceased by: his parents, George Myrick and Melza Myrick; and his siblings, J. T. Myrick (Carolyn), Bettye McCondichie (Earl Gordon) and George E. Myrick.
He is survived by: his wife Myra; his daughters, Rebekah Myrick, Ruth Vander Maat (Keith) and Rachel Owens (Chris); his grandchildren, Kayla Owens, Alison Owens, Allegra Vander Maat, Aspen Vander Maat, Emily Vander Maat, Ezekiel Vander Maat, Ivan Vander Maat, Isabel Vander Maat, Naomi Vander Maat, Angie Vander Maat, David Vander Maat, Cassie Vander Maat and Jimmy Jack Vander Maat; his siblings, Judy Snow (Albert), Rachel Diane Bush, Lucie Myrick, Becky Herrington, David Myrick (Terry) and Sue Battles (David); his sister-in-law Greta Pickett; and his father-in-law Gordon Mulkey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
