He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Sr. Johnson and Geneva Johnson; his former wife Gloria Johnson; his aunt Virginia Campbell; his sister Wanda Brooks (Sam); and his niece Sandy Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Scarborough Johnson; his brother Mike Johnson (Rita); his children, Derek Johnson (Crissy), Stacy Allen (David), Shelley Burkett (Mike) and Julie Harris (Bryan); his grandchildren, Audie (Megan), Emily, Jackson, Mary Elizabeth, Nicholas, Reid, Eden, Nathan, Jenna and Nolan; and his great grandchild Foster. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended friends and family.
