She was predeceased by: her mother Audie E. Chapman; and her sister Sylvia J. Ivey. She is survived by: her children, G. Peter Frambach and Sonya M. Frambach; her brother David Chapman (Lindy); her nephew James Chapman; and her nieces, Tara Kennedy and Teresa Lyons.
For over 20 years she was the Director of the Montgomery Area Retired Senior Program (RSVP) in Montgomery, Alabama coordinating over 600 seniors through 90 community agencies.
