He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Wheeler and Sue Griffin Wheeler; his wife Lou Alice Moulder Wheeler; and his son Jeff Wheeler. He is survived by: his son Joe Wheeler (Ann) of Lebanon, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Lu Wheeler of Solan, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Matthew Wheeler (Danielle) of Hayward and Bethany Wheeler-Bird (Tyler) of Solan, Iowa. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
