She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Smith and Edna Smith; her husband Leo Romanick; her daughter Denise Romanick Hays; her children-in-law, Denise Klein Romanick and Bill Orrell; and her siblings, Ernest, Clifford Smith, Catherine Spencer and Vivian Cottongim.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Romanick (Kay) of Stockton, Leo Romanick (Amy) of Birmingham and Theresa Orrell of Mobile; her grandchildren, Shane Romanick, Tracy McDonald (Mark), Bill Orrell (Lori), Mary Smith (Brad), Brittany Smith (Ron), Brantley Romanick, Carrington Romanick, Heather Downey (Michael), Jennifer Hays and Michelle Hays; her great grandchildren, Blake, Haley McDonald, Meghan, Madison Romanick, William, Henry Orrell, Bradley, McKenzie Conyer, Colton Smith, Edward, Charlie and Philip Smith; and her siblings, Willie Smith (Buddy), Richard Smith (Fredna) and Gloria Liggett.
