He is survived by: his father Ralph Andrew Nelson; his children, Madison Nelson (Tameron), Derek Ladiner (Jenna) and Chase Nelson; his sister Tammy Smith (Alan); his nieces, Ashton Strickland (Gavin) and Hannah Smith; and his great-nephew Liam Strickland. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
