She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Lorenzo and Ina Wilkins Shelton; her husband Harlan Bruce Dean; and her sisters, Birteen Edwards, Mozelle Langston, Edna Plyman, Betty Dean and Inelle McGee.
She is survived by: her brothers, Alvin Shelton, Bobby Shelton, Shorty Shelton, Joe Shelton, Eugene Shelton and Roland Shelton; and her daughters, Dianne Lacey (Dan), Deborah Pugh (Charles), Darlene Spain and Cindy Corbett (Tim). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family has asked that masks and social distancing be observed.
