She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie Ray Rainwater; her parents, Thomas Depree Beard and Erdie Mae Beard; her siblings, Nell Taylor, Almus, Ellis, James and J. B. Beard; and her grandson Corey Doyle.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Howard (Paul) of LaFayette, AL., Pennie Doyle of Steens, MS. and Dennis Rainwater of Millport, AL.; her siblings, Clairee Smallwood of Millport, AL., Vadus Beard of Vestavia, AL. and J. T. Beard (Geraldine) of Fernbank, AL.; and her grandchildren, Beth Brady (Matt), David Howard (Jennie), Kevin Doyle, Carrie Rainwater and Dillon Rainwater. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
