He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bama and Mollie Lee Keating (Homan); his children, Jack Douglas Keating, Elaine Fultz and Martha Johnson; and his siblings, Trannie McCrary, Maggie Pate, Adie Dean, Mattie Lou Reece, L. D., Elton, Renzo and Elmer Keating.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Keating, Michael Keating, James Keating, Linda Thrash, Bama Thrash, Gail Hixon and Trannie Cochran; and his sister Jessie Lee Kelly. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
